St. Louis Braves Keep It Old School the park was open fromFounded in Syracuse in 1962, the Braves of the Eastern Professional Hockey League moved to St. Louis halfway through their first season. The farm team of the Chicago Black Hawks, they went on to win the championship, only to watch the league fold. The Braves then played in the Central Hockey League from 1963 until 1967 when the NHL Blues arrived. The team then moved to Dallas to become the Blackhawks.
